What a party!

Well… if you didn’t make it to the reunion last night, you missed a good one!  I want to THANK each and every person that came, it was such a great turnout.  Thanks to EVERYONE for being understanding of paying the extra cash, as I have said before… it is very hard to plan and budget when you don’t know how many you are planning for! I don’t know if we have a total head count yet, but I would like to know.  I don’t know if we even wrote down contact info or names of those that came and paid at the door.  OOPS! 

Thanks also to those of you that put so much into planning the shindig!  It sure did pay off last night, to see it all come together!  Everyone that worked at the front table deserve a pat on the back, as well.  Thanks, guys!  Thanks to Rosetter for getting us the coolest party room EVER! Thanks to Tony and Leigh Ann for counting ballots, I could not find it in me to focus on that little task!  Thanks to Melodye for keeping up with our money and registration stuff.  Thanks to Melodye and Bobby for helping with the audio/video stuff to show the video.  Thanks to Amy for getting the video together, everyone loved watching it!  Thanks to Lisa for getting the karaokee DJ, so that I could make a complete fool out of myself!  Thanks to Traci for taking over the website, you have done a fabulous job! Traci also bought the little award cerificates and trophies!  Thanks to Shane for getting the webcast hooked up and rolling!  I would love to hear from those of you who watched us on the internet!!!  Thanks to EVERYBODY that helped find missing classmates!!!

Thanks to Whitney for the EXCELLENT memory books, they are very cool! I will tell u guys that those were not in our budget and she ended up spending her own money to get them printed!  She is not expecting to get paid back, but I’m sure she wouldn’t mind getting a $5 check from those of you that got one.  SHE’S GONNA KILL ME FOR WRITING THIS ON HERE!!!  Her address is in the memory book. 

I just LOVED seeing all of you, and I just wish they hadn’t have kicked us out so soon!  There were so many of you that I feel like I didn’t get a chance to talk to, and I am really sorry for that!  IT WAS FUN… I cannot say enough about how much fun I had!  I hope you guys enjoyed it, too!

bad news

I just got off the phone with Randy Russle. He can’t make it to the reunion. He is flying for frontier airlines and the national guard. He is a Maj. about to be deployed he thinks.

COME AND PAY AT DOOR!

Even if you didn’t register… you can still come and pay at the door to EITHER event!  The more the merrier!  Some of you might not have known whether or not you were going to have the weekend free to come and that’s totally understandable!  I (stupid me) took the registration form off the website and I am not at a computer where I can pull it up.  SO… I don’t know the cost of each event, just SHOW UP and have your checkbook ready.  WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE AS MANY THERE AS POSSIBLE!  Come one, Come all… we’re gonna have a freakin’ ball!

Okay, the time is here… I have talked to a few folks and know what they will be wearing, here’s the scoop I got:

Me (Karen) – Black pants, a shimmery jacket that is a bit on the wild side 4 me, and black shoes with a bit more heel than I am accustomed to!

Melissa McCall Cross – Last I heard… dressy black capri pants with some sort of silky/satiny blouse and dressy sandals.

Tina Ragsdale Brown – I went shopping w/ her and if she still goes with what she bought, it was a very cute black and white dress made out of a flowy type fabric.  She was thinking about wearing tall black boots with it.  The sales guy said that boots would look “fabulous” with the dress! 

Susan Lynch Jumper – WHO THE HECK KNOWS!  Last I talked to the her, she had a dress but then the next time, she was talking about taking it back! 

Rick Kinder – Saw him the other night and he said that he is going to wear dress slacks, no tie!  Angela, his date said that she will probably wear pants.

Now that EVERYONE knows exactly what some of us are wearing… let us know what you are wearing! I hope my friends don’t get mad at me for telling what they are going to wear, but I thought it would show sort of what a variety of things that will be worn and that anything is pretty much acceptable!
